Ok. So Bama is number one and your team needs help to get attention. I hope you do well.

Umm Nebraska played Wisconsin not MS. Also predictions are predictions, it is pointless to rephrase them after the fact because they wouldn't be predictions anymore. ;-)

Gotcha. I never predicted the end of the season. I threw out theoretical possibilities, some of them way out there in the low probability range.

I feel like its a pretty safe bet that Georgia is going to be the biggest "leaper" this week. Wisconsin will probably also gain a decent chunk but they're too far back for it to matter I think. And based on how TCU fared against Kansas, it is my opinion that they should drop a spot. MSU should stay ahead of TCU in the 4th slot.

I think the top 10 would be something like this,

Oregon

FSU

Alabama

Miss. St.

TCU

Baylor

Ohio State

Ole Miss

UCLA

Mich. State or Georgia

That's almost exactly what I think ... Except I'm wondering if maybe Georgia even jumps to 9 past ucla since ucla didn't play.

I just feel that if Oregon started eating BBQ and fried chicken everyday from now to the end of the season, they still would not weigh enough to move FSU, MS or Bama off the line of scrimmage.

I doubt they could either, but they would full and happy. Especially if they included baked beans, potatoe salad and sweet tea. :-)

Ohio State's QB not getting the recognition he deserves.

When compared to other QB's on the Heisman watch list http://espn.go.com/college-football/heisman14/

Mariota: 67% Comp, 3300 Total Yards, 37 Total TD's, 2 INT's, 184.6 Passer Rating, faced the 56th SOS

Boykin: 59% Comp, 3570 Total Yards, 31 Total TD's, 5 INT's, 143 Passer Rating, faced the 58th SOS

Prescott: 60% Comp, 3380 Total Yards, 31 Total TD's, 10 INT's, 150.1 Passer Rating, faced the 47th SOS

Barrett: 64% Comp, 3130 Total Yards, 38 Total TD's, 8 INT's, 171.6 Passer Rating, faced the 53rd SOS

By SOS, I mean how tough of defenses they faced.

Barrett has the 3rd highest total QBR, only behind Mariota on this list.

I would say on that list, if Mariot has slightly better stats than Barrett and played against nearly as tough of defenses as Ohio State has. I would say Barrett should be ranked 2nd on that list. He's clearly the 2nd best QB when compared to the other QB's in consideration for the Heisman.

Not saying he should win it, just saying he should at least be recognized as a player who should be in consideration for it. To not even be put in the top 5, when clearly the heisman is now the default QB award, and he's clearly the 2nd best QB in the nation up to this point.

If you want to have a direct comparison between common opponents between Barrett and Mariota, look at against Michigan State.

Mariota: 60.7% Comp, 318 yards, 3 TD's, 42 yds rushing, 191.5 passer rating.

Barrett: 61.5% Comp, 300 yards, 3 TD's, 86 yds rushing, 2 Rushing TD's, 196.5 passer rating.

Pretty similar stats, actually Barrett played better against MSU than Mariota did, just slightly.

OSU's QB needs some respect!

@saevel25 here's a fun story for ya: http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/11892899/three-issues-storylines-predictions-rest-college-football-season

10-0 and FSU is ranked 3. Strength of schedule maybe is poor I guess, but it doesnt show much respect to FSU after 10 games.

As long as your in the top 4 though it doesn't matter.  If they go undefeated they will be in the top 4 and have a shot at repeating.

FSU Hasn't earned that respect really. They have looked unimpressive this year. Having to rely on second half surges to barely get past opponents they were crushing last year. The ACC is down this year, maybe the weakest conference out of the power 5. You have their really tight win against ND at home, and ND gets beat by both Arizona State and Northwestern.

I don't mind them at 3rd.
