You don't mind if I do discuss it, do you?

Guy shoots lights out with a putter that will be illegal - isn't that worth any discussion?

No, because it isn't illegal yet. Plus, there is literally zero evidence to suggest that those who use belly and long putters are better than those who use short putters.

LMAO! He's just too easy to make fun of. I really disliked him last year, but he is growing on me recently...can't hate the way he plays golf. Makes tough shots in huge situations. He'll finish top 10 here, I'm almost sure of it.

I'd bring it over to one of the already made long putter threads. It just creates to much mess here in the Bay Hill thread....and to be honest...it's beating a dead horse.

Apparently Adam Scott was experiencing flu-like symptoms this morning.

hopefully he can fight this thing off and continue to post low.

Lumpy - aka Tim Herron, making a play for the weekend, after shooting an opening round 80.

Currently -5 for today, through 12, projected cut is +1, so he will need to get a couple of more birdies & hope that the field doesn't go low and move the cut-line.

Players play, tough players win!

Only one 'trapper picked Adam Scott to win the Masters, and with a -6 finish at that.  But consider: #2 in the world (behind the injured TW), defending at his favorite tournament, and in his last year to putt with the cheat-stick.  Hmmm...

What are the odds of someone winning B2B tho? I think that is the major deterrent ...for me at least.

What in the sam hell happened to McDowell today? +5.....ISH.

In other Irish news....Paddy posts another respectable 2 under on the day. MAKING CUTS BABY.

Two more players have withdrawn...Rory Sabbatini and Jeff Overton.

Interesting that Bubba withdraws because of "allergies" after a round where he drowned 3 balls into the water carded an 11 and isn't ripped for faking it, being a quitter or only "withdrawing" because he was playing poorly.

It's just Bubba being Bubba...

I was disappointed to see Ryo Ishikawa post a 74.  He went out early today and had a chance to position himself very nicely for the weekend.

It's Bubba, not Tiger. That's the difference, we all know Tiger is the king of quitters *Sarcasm*

I was rooting for Ryo, enjoyed watching him high up the leaderboard yesterday.

    • Day 292: light day today. Mirror work, working on getting my hips more open in the downswing.
    • Day 135 (27 Apr 24) - played Bradford Creek today while waiting for the missus fly in from her extended visit with the grands.  Good day to stay focused as it was a hurry up (groups pressing from behind) and wait (groups taking their time ahead)…a good day to stay mentally in the game - play the shot and not get frustrated in the waiting…
    • Day 122: 4/27/24 Supposed to be a Stack training day but I was beat after yard work today. Practiced chipping and putting at The Creek. The practice green is pretty slow but the session went well.
    • Went to the range today and was cursing myself when I got there as I realized I forgot my phone. I added an earlier wrist hinge to the short backswing I was using last time practicing and ball strikes were really good for the most part. I'm heading back to Boston Thursday to see friends and family and have a couple of rounds planned so I'm hoping to keep this feeling.  Yesterday morning I weighed in at 232. My goal had been 230 but maybe now it's 220. I'll have to think about that. I feel so much better without the extra 90 lbs. from 2 years ago. Still a softl slightly less protruding belly so it might be time to go hard on eating better. Work in progress.
    • Day 7- Went to the range and hit a bucket. Also did some chipping and putting.
