Kompany is in. That's not good news for US, no?

Unless he's still suffering from his injury, no.

I remember back in the day when I played high school soccer how it seemed like the only people that knew soccer existed were the people playing.. I think the US has come such a long way, but did things change? I don't really know, but I really think they can be the best in the world eventually if they really keep growing their youth programs to compete with all the other sports... Basically you don't want the people who couldn't make it on football to play soccer but eater people choosin it over football.. I know of a few cases wee the kids had some promise in soccer but one chose to be a receiver and the other a corner back..

Univision vs ESPN. A bit of a time delay. Univision ahead of ESPN.

Yes, I also knew two kids that were star soccer players who eventually found a place playing varsity football. They got injured before the end of senior year, so they were no longer able to play either sport.

I wonder if this type of thing happens a lot more?

US is getting some opportunities, but I would give Belgium the upper hand as of right now..

NYT Reader Jeff Forster observes: “Every time the McDonald’s ads appear on the field-level ad boards, it looks like Belgium is the McDonald’s company team.” Good thing Fellaini’s Afro isn’t dyed orange.
