What's up everyone,

I'm a CT native and current college student. I attend Bentley U. in Waltham, MA and study management. I play pretty much all of my golf on public courses.

I'm really excited for this golf season. I've been putting some work in on the range after classes and things are feeling good. I've really focused on keeping my left arm straight through my swing which has helped me strike the ball much better.

Anyway, how bout Haas? Seems like he's really got the flat stick working for him right now...

But anyway, be careful about the straight arm - some well known teaching pros say there should be a little bend in the elbow and that there shouldn't be a lot of tension in the left arm.  Playing golf while in college is a good thing - gets you away from the books, outside and if you can get student rates for a season pass, all the better.

Excited to have you. I remember when your school was Bentley College. Everyone I knew growing up who wanted to be an accountant had that on their radar as a top school.

    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
