Me too. They definitely feel solid and are probably some of the longer shots I hit.

Interesting that ya'll say that. My longest balls were my misses to the left for a long time.

Somewhere along the line things changed to the opposite. Now my misses to the right are much longer than anything else (including my good shots). Anything I miss to the left now is pretty weak.

I figure my misses left being my longest shots were due to an out to in path through impact, with the face relatively square to the path, and I figure my longest shots now being misses right are due to a path that's too much in to out, with a face that is relatively square to the path.

What helped me was using the range . Go early morning when no one else is there and the balls have been picked.

Hit the range and the course today, shot 121, need to get my half and 3 quarter wedge shots.  But back to seeing the ball.  I did find that i was getting the face closed so i was hitting a push instead of a draw.  The only bad thing is now im overcompensating and hooking, but at least i can see them.  Did also notice later on in the day they were harder to find as the golf course started to play into the sun.  Now that i can see it im actually starting to get some good distance out of the driver.

I have this problem and my eye sight will never get any better and glasses.  Its why I golf with people!  lol

I played one round alone last year, I took plenty of extra balls, but I only lost one and it was NOT because I couldn't see where it went!

My problem is with my driver and what the sky looks like.  Yellow or white doesn't seem to make much difference to me, if there are a few white clouds I tend to loose it.

Some sun glasses seem to help more than others.

They need to make a ball/sunglasses combo that makes the ball jump out at you, whatever color that is.  That would sell!

As long as I hit it in the sweet spot I got a pretty good idea where it is going and stand a chance of seeing it hit the ground once it gets below tree level.  But there are certain times and days where I just can not see it in the air at all.

Im actually having this problem lately with only the driver, where depending on the sky or sun, I lose sight of even my yellow balls. Just tonight, I thought I had a fairway shot, didnt see it, and didnt find it on the fairway. Shot a penalty 2nd shot and kept walking to find my first ball just beyond a small ridge on the fairway 20 yards further....

Im just afraid of looking up too early and screwing up my ball contact.

I have a much harder time seeing the yellow balls in flight than the white ones, but even as a young guy with 20/10 vision I still lose sight of them sometimes, especially when playing in the afternoon and the sun gets lower.  I also expect my drives to go straight, so if I really pull it or push it I might not see it for the first 50ft, and if you don't see it leave the club good luck finding it in flight.

When playing by myself sometimes on the first tee at one local course, due to the background and the way the tee is arranged I completely lose sight of my tee shot. It's the only hole this happens. I can warm up for 20 minutes ahead and hit a solid shot. Where did the ball go? I have no clue. And if you don't see it fly, good luck finding it because the driving range is right next to the fairway. And don't hit a yellow ball. White is iffy. Pink is usually a safe bet on that hole. I've taken about 5 mulligans there due to where did it go?

Now hitting 5 iron off the tee due to slower ball speed and easier to follow against the busy background. Leaves me a 7 iron onto the green instead of a wedge.
