Probably a little OT and maybe someone can correct me but I feel like changes should only be considered tweeking once someone is working on key#5 and fine tuning key#4..

Then again that's just my opinion!

Tweaking to me is meaning small changes, as opposed to what I'm doing now which is a pretty major change. IE shorten backswing and trying to stop my flip. After those 2 things other changes shouldn't be significant enough to warrant/require equipment changes.

The Mizuno is a great club.

The shaft might be too light? I would try it out before buying it, if possible.

You may want to look at the MPF rating and see what characteristics these heads share with some of the others you've mentioned. This head looks to still have high launch properties but is less forgiving. I don't buy everything Maltby puts out there but it doesn't appear this would be a good head for a 20 handicap, classified as conventional design for better players.

TST did a review some time ago.

Try them out first. I don't remember if you are a high handicap because you duff your way to the hole or if you have jitter hands on the greens, but it seems like this is a club you can grow into. You were a 15 at one point, so. . .try it.

I'm more of a left/right problem than a can't hit the ball forward type.

Yes, I think we've established that you can get the ball up in the air with no problems.

Alrighty then, that review has me thinking of looking at the price of mx-300's too since the reviewer seemed to say they were pretty comparable.

Jeremie, I would continue to work on fixing the flip before you do anything else. I too fight a flip. My irons right now would promote a lower ball flight - mizuno mp 52s with DGS300 shafts - yet I can hit them sky high with a small flip. When I get my weight forward and hands forward, I get great height with great distance, but that's a factor of the swing, not the clubs.

Ditto here, even my clubs are exactly the same.
