the back nine was not kind to Cinderella....even par standing on the 12th tee, he finished with a +6 78.

Dang it, I watched him earlier, when he was even. Thought he'd end up under.

Ouch..

Did anyone watch him on the first tee? It was greatness...you could tell he was about to toss his cookies.

I find it amusing that he tied Patrick Reed for the first round.

Now if he (not Reed) can play his second round like he did in the qualifiers he just might make the cut.

John Singelton tied for low score today, for the players not making the cut.

He was not able to overcome the +5/42 that he shot on the back nine on day 1.

Would have been a fun story for the media to cover over the weekend....loads more fun depending on who he could have been paired with.

The guy has already said he doesn't work full time in the "factory"

It even says on his twitter, "professional golfer"

Who in their right mind would be grafting hard in a factory when they could be a club pro/coach, especially when you're as good as him.

Of course it's awesome, but the media love over hyping this kind of thing, the 14 year old chinese kid playing at Augusta was better.

I think anytime someone without any Tour status gets into a "Major" be they a pro or amateur is something special. They all have a unique story and pathway into the tournament!
