@iacas would kick my ass if I said one size fits all. In fact some like the lower right shoulder. My playing partner is a long bomb badass and he uses 10f, so to say I know for you would be way too vain on my part. 2.54 cm = 1 us inch as I recall.

Played tonight after work and it was the best I've hit my driver for a long, long time! The feeling I had was like chopping through a tree with an axe, having 2 hands on the club actually made this feeling very authentic if that makes sense... Irons were good. Chipping was poor although I think with practice this will improve, need to find my new release point! ;) Summary: 10-finger grip is giving me great feel as well as a more solid connection to the club, more often than not I was losing my right hand off the club with the overlap. Going to stick with this and hope it lasts....

You will have a slightly steeper angle of attack. Ball position on the short stuff may like to be back/open. It is a good controlled feel isnt it?

Just wanted to post a follow up to this thread, I know that when I was researching the subject I often wondered how many players who made the switch actually stuck with it!! Been playing with the 10-finger grip for almost 2 months now and I can't see me ever changing, the feel and sense I get of the position of the clubface is fantastic. Took a little while to get the hang of chipping around the green but now everything feels very natural. I was using the ten finger grip last season but have gravitated to using the interlock. I felt that I was pulling the ball a little more than I like, though everything feels so solidly hit. The biggest con or concern for me was the amount of stress it places on my right pinky. I have strong hands, but the pain was enough to tell me that I either am not used to it or its not for me. So I use it mostly on chips around the green.

I been mostly satisfied with interlocking. However I been finding that to hit a low silce or a big hook or drive having a full fingered grip works a lot better.

I switched to a ten-finger grip a few months ago. It keeps my wrists firmer through impact, so they don't flop around and get the clubface out of line. It feels like I have the club under much more control. I played with it for a year about seven or eight years ago and did just fine. I think it is my regular grip now.
