Keegan Bradley, Graeme McDowell and Freddie Jacobson aren't just competitors at a PGA Tour venue near you. They're also friends -- and now -- partners in a new business endeavor... something called "Golf Beer."

According to a USA Today report, the threesome has joined forces , "to create some new options for the 19th hole."

From the report:

With the help of Florida-based brewer The Brew Hub, PGA tour members Graeme McDowell, Keegan Bradley and Freddie Jacobson are teeing up a line of new craft beers targeting golfers.

The three beers -- G-Mac's Celtic Style Pale Ale, Keegan Bradley's New England Style Lager and Freddie Jacobson's Scandinavian Style Blonde Ale -- will initially be available this month on draft at select Florida golf courses and on-site restaurants and country clubs. The beer will be available in cans in December and bottles during the first quarter of 2015. Distribution will expand to grocery stores, bars and other restaurants in Florida and then to other regions.

Saw a picture of their beer in cans.  Cans?  Not a fan.

Also the name is not inspiring.  They could have come up with something more interesting than "Golf Beer".

Yeah "Golf Beer" is what I'd expect to see a beer called in an episode of the Simpsons or Family Guy if they were going to make fun of them for creating a beer.

"Teed Up"

I like it. Or something like "Sand Trap Stout"

G-Mac's could have been..."Links Lager"

Seriously, who wouldn't be a little intimidated by this in match play?

I think the empty glasses on the table might be responsible.

Heaven knows what Darren Clarke would come up with? An intraveinous drip rigged up to a distillery?

    • It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story. Combine that with the attempts at blow ups last year (Double on the 1st, 13, 18 on first try) and the stunningly good shots that he hit in the final round (7, 15, 17, 18 on second try).  Full gamut: https://www.masters.com/en_US/watch/2025-04-13/17445961638226475/every_single_shot_from_rory_mcilroys_final_round.html
    • Let's kick off the 2026 Masters talk with… a look back at 2025 (coming soon):
    • Wow, so Europe named Luke for a third term. Luke Donald named 2027 European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald named 2027 European Ryder Cup Captain Who will the U.S. name? I hope not Tiger Woods.
    • I am playing Arrowhead for the first time and I am pumped.  What are some things that I need to make sure and appreciate, for those that have played it before and love it? It has been a pretty dry winter so I am expecting rough to be forgiving which is nice and it will be playing much easier than it does in the late summer (I am assuming based on other colorado courses).  What should I make sure to not miss?
