I figured I'd start a thread about college basketball, as CBB is probably my favorite sport to watch. In happy news: Conference play is beginning! In unhappy news: That moment when Cal loses to Cal-State Bakersfield. :doh:

My alma mater OHIO STATE BUCKEYES win again and knock out #1 Bama! Buckeyes in the National Championship!!!

Wrong thread ... This is a basketball thread. UCLA scored 7 points in a half against Kentucky a couple weeks ago. SEVEN!!!!!

Everyone is playing for 2nd place. Seriously. UK beat my Carolina Tar heels too and they embarrassed Kansas..I don't see them losing the title, not even to Duke.

UK Is going undefeated in the regular season at least.

I think they have a good chance to, if they lose it will be because they get bored and don't have the intensity they do in the big games.

My two schools are Cal and North Carolina.  UNC starts league play tonight at Clemson, always a tough place to play.

Coincidentally, I also like UNC haha. No ties to there, though. Maybe just cause I passionately hate Duke. :-P In related news, WHO LOSES TO WASHINGON STATE AND USC?!! USC lost to ARMY! Wazzu lost to UC Santa Barbara-by 28!

      Tale of two swings.  Swing 1: Slightly outside takeaway (hands move outside of target line) only to allow trail elbow over collapsing at P4. Doesn't take much to overdo it for the trail elbow collapse to only further exaggerate. That's death. Swing 2: Hands stay slight in at takeaway for a much better trail elbow condition at P4. This is a hard sell from an instinct perspective. More focus on un-weighting and re-weighting of lead foot to unlock a bit more mobility of hips and torso. A major flaw that creeps up often is me swinging flat footed and becoming overly armsy-collapsy as a result. Got reminded of this the hard way during my 2nd round match for club net championship. Was cruising along 2up until I made the turn. Then lost the swing for next five holes. Andy was playing good enough to capitalize. By the time I regained my swing on 16th, it was too late. Even Andy was like "That was a gift". Obviously that stings because have played well enough lately. Should have closed him out of the game comfortably with a few holes to spare. Shoulda woulda coulda. Tough lesson. Damn. P.S. I know the swings look very similar but trust me there is a difference.
