Just in case you're wondering, The "1 for 5" comment is in regard to stableford points.

2 for par (nett)  - in his case actual par

3 for 1 under par (nett)

4 for 2 under par (nett)

5 for 3 under par (nett)

A player with two  shots on a hole who gets a birdie gets 5 points

I wonder how often does this happen? I'm going to go ahead and assume there are many less hole in ones on par 4s than par 3s.. So, this is really special! Congrats to him!

If we're counting tournament rounds, it's only happened once on the PGA Tour; Andrew Magee on the par-4 17th at the 2001 Phoenix Open.

I was reading somewhere else that they thought it was a terrible shot. I'm guessing even if the ball had stayed in the bunker, he had a great shot at birdie. Very lucky to get the hole in one, but it was definitely a good shot either way.

That's cool. He should run out and buy a lottery ticket. That is incredible. It almost appears there was a little troll hiding in that bunker and threw it out...

      Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.

      It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story.       I am playing Arrowhead for the first time and I am pumped.  What are some things that I need to make sure and appreciate, for those that have played it before and love it? It has been a pretty dry winter so I am expecting rough to be forgiving which is nice and it will be playing much easier than it does in the late summer (I am assuming based on other colorado courses).  What should I make sure to not miss?
