Yes. Just wipe them off after each shot, and wash them to clean the grooves after each round. Nothing else I can do. They get banged around in the bag.

Our course attendants when they are not busy doing other things wash our clubs at the end of the round.  Once in a while, I will washed them myself to get dirt out of grooves.  Less often, I will regroove my wedges.  I practice and play so much, keeping any club like new is a futile exercise.  I love playing golf but not the equipment.

As for covers, I got rid of my putter cover b/c I am too lazy to cover/uncover up to 18 times per round.  Someone gave me iron cover and I threw them out eventually.   It was too much hassle to take the covers on and off.

That's fine if you plan on keeping them. Fortunately, I like to try different equipment and don't care for forged. Lets see the backs.

Here you go.

Sure.

Gotta ask.  Why in the world would you care about the backs anyways?

Fair question. Simple answer....RESALE. I try alot of equipment and RESALE plays a big part in being able to try alot of equipment. It's part of what keeps the game exciting for me. I very rarely EVER buy NEW equipment and I'm not of the financial class that affords me to not care about RESAL.E. My winters are spent unloading and re-loading for the next season.
