Boy do I get this question alot. In this golf lesson I discuss some tips on how to hit the driver. I also explain some reasons golfers have a difficult time swinging the driver.

Equipment, Setup, Finish, Balance, and Relax. All equal in importance and all dependent on each other. They are the cornerstones of a good golf swing.

Thanks Ringer. Very timely for me, my driving has gone south lately. Pounding my 3 wood though. Just can't figure out why I feel so loose and confident standing over the ball with my 3 wood in hand, but with driver it's like I'm completely lost!

whoa nice vid! I like the method you use for determining axis tilt. I will keep that one in mind! Thanks!!!

Great vid. I agree with setting up with the club hovering instead of touch the ground. Popping up with the driver's topside is worse than a shank with the hosel.

This post was worthy of one rep point from me. It is a well thought out piece on the driving fundamentals.

Heh.. still says I'm an unknown quantity. I guess having 2 bad reps and 8 good doesn't balance out the way you'd think it does. Thanks though guys. I appreciate that you find the videos helpful.

I feel the exact same way. I feel like I'm swinging a hose. No confidence, no foundation, and I also feel very unbalanced.
