right driver for my swing

I have been looking for a driver with the right feel. I was at the fitting shop and my swing speed on my driver was 133 mph. What loft will give me consistent distance. With higher lofts I tend to backspin the ball and lose distance.

Haha. Very funny. But seriously. I have a Taylor made jetspeed driver and I'm swinging at 8.5 degree loft. I still seem to be back spinning a little.

Depends on more factors than just swing speed. You're going to generate more spin than most people simply from swinging faster than most people. Make sure you are swinging up on the ball and not contacting low on the clubface. There are a number of lower spinning drivers out there, but really, you should just go for a fitting. Hey, just so we're 100% on the same page because a few other posters have made this mistake in the past: You're sure your swing speed is 133mph and not your ball speed? Launch monitors make that confusing sometimes. I bring it up because Rory McIlroy's swing speed with driver is only (haha, *only*) about 120 mph.

Launch monitors make that confusing sometimes. I bring it up because Rory McIlroy's swing speed with driver is only (haha, *only*) about 120 mph.
