When one doesn't have an argument, change it... typical

The pont is Trump is inciting crazies (and criminals) to act against immigrants and then makes excuses for them.

Yep, "Let's Make America Great ... Beat An Immigrant Today"

-- Donald Trump

Trump is now inciting crazies....really?  I'm just going to stop responding to your troll posts.

It's in the news, bud. He is inciting criminals to beat immigrants and they are using Trump as their excuse. What's worse is that when he has a chance to distance himself from the crime, he does not... that is crazy, and that is where this leads.

Troll - yep 6006 posts, that's a troll. I don't accuse the nuts who hate on Obama of being trolls. But if that's your excuse and how your mind works, it is what it is.

Trump is a salesman and seems to have strong narcissistic tendencies ... there is 5% truth, and 95% Trump.

I don't pretend to understand the extreme right wing mind ... to me, it is an unhealthy way of viewing how to change society and government. Their view of unbridled capitalism only leads to cycles of suffering for all but he very rich - See 2008 Depression. I've had lunches with guys who think the poor should not have health care if they can't afford it or for those who are deemed unfit for insurance ... that they can sit in county ER rooms and suffer.

While that's not Trump, I hope, his glib, sarcastic, cynical, off the cuff remarks without thinking about the effect of his words makes him unfit to hold any public office.

Donald Trump --- now that guy is a troll.

Not implying you did or said this, @Mr. Desmond , but to blame Donald Trump for what this idiot did is wrong but it's true that he could have distanced himself from this heinous act more than he did.

Where is your proof that Trump willfully led these guys to commit these atrocities? A politician would've distanced him or herself from these comments and acts, but Trump is not wired that way. Are you insinuating that he condones the act? I think he's sticking to his guns that Americans are fed up with hearing about immigration reform for a decade with no plan to fix it.The justification of someone who commited this atrocity is worthless. Charles Manson blamed the Beatles song Helter Skelter for murder. Does that mean Paul McCartney secretly supported a death squad? I do not support Trump for president, and I agree that his manner of speaking is completely unfit for a chief political officer, but I think it's a stretch to take this one comment from a thug and say Trump is inciting crazies. Unless you have other evidence to support that.

OMG .... you said "willfully", not me.

I said his words "incite", and then given the chance to distance himself, what does Trump do? He says people are very passionate -- that is NOT what a leader of a country says -- he says "Illegal Immigration is an issue that as a county, we must discuss and decide on solutions, and I condemn anyone who uses that discussion to commit crimes against others -- that is not America."

When a pol blames an ethnic group for significant problems to the nation, guess what happens?

Manson, the Beatles, seriously?

You guys will stretch anything to prove you are right, when you have no grasp on reality.

And you are incorrect -- there was a plan on the table to "fix" the immigration issue, it was even bipartisan to a large degree, but I believe, from my fading memory, that the House scuttled it.

Walls? Walls are a short term solution to a long term problem. Spend a trillion on a wall and you will still have a problem until you fix the root of the issue.

Don't you guys learn anything? Let's take Iraq. The problem in Iraq was not Saddam, per se, although he was an arrogant, egotistical, narcissistic despot and murderer -- once Saddam was out of power, the Iraq issue did not go away because the root problems are religious issues and a lack of education and honest government - those people are still living in the 9th Century or so.

Same with Trump's Great Wall -- until you help solve the issues of Central America, Mexico, et al, with education and somewhat honest government, you will always have a problem, and a wall will not resolve it. A temporary solution to a long term problem. Yes, we need border security (preventing illegal immigrants, terrorists) and a wall will help lessen numbers, but you need more than a Wall. You need a solution to the problem so less people have the resolve to dig under, poke holes, or fly over the Wall so we can see the really bad guys - terrorists.

Dude, chill.

Ok, you said incite. Maybe you're right. When I interview the nut who did it, I'll let you know. Empirically politicians have some galvanizing force behind what people do, but it is drastically overstated (this is a poli sci masters and career public servant talking) next to underlying psychology and myriad other factors. Until I know more about this isolated incident, I'll dismiss your argument as a causation/correlation fallacy and move on. The guy may have been piss drunk and the first thing he saw after getting tossed from the pub before beating the snot out of someone was a newspaper article where Donald Trump said immigrants suck so he decided to beat down a brown-skinned guy instead of his wife because she wouldn't make him pork and beans the night before. People are going to find a reason to be A-holes no matter what. Trump's rhetoric may be polarizing, but you're the guy who stretched your argument into hyperbole when you said "Let's make America Great - Beat an Immigrant Today," so it's a little disingenuous to call out my Manson reference.

BTW, I think Trump's immigration plan sucks as well. And you're right about the facts on immigration reform. All the average Joe knows is that it didn't get done, which Trump says he will change with lots of charisma. He's probably wrong, and his plan sucks, but Joe Public knows more about the results of Big Brother than the ins and outs of immigration reform legislation history.

Chill? Look at your initial response.

"Let's make America Great - Beat an Immigrant Today"

(It is Sarcasm)

History tells us to beware of Pols blaming the nation's problems on a segment of society. It tends to lead to hate crimes -- look at what has happened since 9/11 to followers of Islam. When Pols blame people of African American descent for inflated welfare rolls, it makes it easier to offer them no respect and treat them shabbily. The guy who beat up and urinated on the immigrant also did the same to an Islamic immigrant. Donald Trump was his excuse. Trump did not distance himself from the act --

Where's Obama's statement condemning illegal aliens who commit crimes, he refused to even acknowledge the woman who was murdered in San Francisco by an illegal alien who was deported twice.  Using your logic here, one could say he's inciting illegal aliens to commit crimes because he's not condemning their actions.  Why do the libs in CA continue to create sanctuary cities for criminals, are they inciting violence?  You're taking a single isolated incident and blaming it on Trump yet I don't see any posts from you blaming Sharpton for the attacks on police officers or whites?

I still wouldn't vote for Trump but the liberals must be getting nervous if they're resorting to this level of propaganda and now calling his use the term "anchor baby" as offensive.  Maybe instead they should create a gofundme account to keep Hillary out of jail.

Sorry, but I don't put Trump braggadocio, drama, and outlandish statements on the same level as Obama's non-statements. I fault Trump more for not distancing himself from the criminal activity.

Hold on while I pour the bourbon... and forget about politics.

Obama is just as wrong for not addressing the violent crimes committed by illegal aliens as Trump.  I don't like Trump but I do like that he's forcing these issues to the forefront rather than Obama who's trying to bury them.

Obama is not running for office any longer, and 17 Republicans are running -- they comment on any negative, blow it up, and say "This is why our country is not working."

Well, let's look at that ... Haven't we always had illegal immigrants in the country, and don't a portion of them commit crimes? Just like a portion of our citizenry commits crimes? Now Trump has said Mexico sends us the bad ones... True? It sounds like a sale to me. I listened to Trump's town hall, a portion of it yesterday, and was thinking, this guy is entertaining, but I don't think he has any facts.

Question: Do we want any President to address all local murders committed in the country?

I hope he has other priorities... I haven't agreed with Obama's priorities ... but what can one expect?

The border has been an issue since before Obama took office and in 6 years he's done zero about it because he knows that everyone that crosses that border is likely a vote for the democrats.

I do expect the POTUS to address murders when they are committed by illegal aliens who are being given sanctuary in cities within our country.  Why hasn't he discontinued federal aide to these cities who willfully break our laws?  Why shouldn't we just assume that since he hasn't addressed the problem he's condoning the actions of these people and cities who are breaking the law?

Ya know, George Bush did well with the Hispanic vote, between 34-46% according to what I saw and what year, so it depends on the Prez.

I did not even know about sanctuary cities until recently.

They did have a bipartisan immigration bill -- finally -- and the House killed it.

Yes, the lack of priority almost cost Obama and the Dems, and then the GOP goes more extremist.

No worries for the Dems unless another Bush in nominated...

GW did well with Hispanics because he refused to address the illegal immigration problem as well.

I'm not surprised you didn't know about sanctuary cities, they don't get much coverage on CNN and the Daily Beast.

I doubt another Bush will be a threat, Jeb also had his hand slapped by the lib media today for using the term "anchor babies" so he'll be taking heat on illegal immigration too.

Oh, I get a dailybeast email each morning to peruse items the NYT might not have. I don't do CNN or Fox or MSNBC for the most part, or any local broadcasts. I'll channel surf and pick up something like I did Trump yesterday. Heck, I don't even listen to Chris Matthews any more ... or Daily Joe or Minka... lol.

Wonder if the sanctuary thing started with the Catholic Church ... sounds like a religious idea .. the idea of sanctuary. Oh, well, illegal immigration and border security is something that all pols discuss but everyone punts -- the GOP punted on the last one. I'd rather pass a law and then amend it to get it to work.

Same way with ACA -- pass it and then change it to make it work less expensively and reasonably.

BUT these pols .... they have no courage, no leadership. They pass something they haven't read and then do not change it. Happens with every bill in Congress. For example, they pass a Tax Act, and then make Corrections to it. That just hasn't happened in this era...

Ridiculous.

By the way, you really need to think about the new GBB while the 50% trade in bonus is in effect -- I think until end of year -- I am thinking this driver is ridiculously good.
