9/24/15: Found 10 minutes in my 13 hour day cooking to work on balance with the back of a chair...

One of my issues, and the one that anyone that tees up with me for the first time comments on, is my speed in setup and hitting it ... after watching the vlog today and getting Mike's explanation I practiced his approach and setup ... I think it will slow me down a bit and get me more "into" the shot ... I am encouraged, and will put it into play on the next round ...

Putting on my 36" ruler board.  Head still.  Smooth back and through tempo.  Keep the face square in the follow through.

9/25/15: Worked on putting today, and keeping my head steady...

Went to Roger Dunn to test out all kinds of clubs. Did hip turn drills while testing them. Really like the way the Apex MB felt, but I'm looking for clubs that can be used on the course.

Back on the putting green for a quick practice outside ... busy day!

Backs wing practice. Full turn and hold.  Half swings, tempo.  Stay connected.  Brush the carpet.  Full swings, full shoulder turn and brush the carpet.

Working on my hip turn and backswing with the goal to not slice the ping i25.

9/26/15: Hit some 8i, 9i, PW, GW, and SW shots working on SK2 and SK3...

Playing tomorrow, worked on my setup, as well key 1 and key 2 ... outside on my "backyard range"

More than half with no fade/slice with my new driver out of 80 drives. :-)

Warm up with my Orange whip.  Worked on a smooth swing tempo.  Driver over grass, no ball.  Smooth, fast swings.  Stay relaxed, but move fast.  Then a few swings with a weighted club.

Hit at my net trying to get the hip to fully rotate at impact. My weight is finally shifting more after hitting literally hundreds of balls!

Practiced distance control 20+ feet, since I was on a real practice green today before my round.

9/27/15: Played 9 holes with Alina... I shot 39, Alina shot 54 (she's not even 2)... The best shot of the day wasn't even by me... It was Alina's Fairway Driver on 9 from about 80 yards... Nearly holed it for eagle, two-putt par... Lol... I worked on my short irons yesterday, and standing a smidge further away... What a difference... Took a couple holes to adjust... I tried to hit my usual 8-iron at the 145-yard, 2nd... Hit a gorgeous 7-iron at the 165-yard, Seventh, missed the fudging putt though... Alina was 15-over thru 5, finished bogey, par, double, par, lipped out her birdie putt on 7, after a brilliant 6-iron from 55 yards...

Putting on my 36" ruler board.  Worked on keeping my head still and rocking my shoulders.  Focused on the front of the ball and imagined driving a spike from the back to the front on each stroke.  Keep the follow through square to the target line.

9/28/15: Hit D, 3w, 3h,4h, 4i, 5i, 6i, 7i today focusing on swinging more around my body...

Did some really slow mirror drill swings with a PVC pipe "club" at my office.

Putted in the morning with a friend, and lost the putting game on the first shot 9:11. I made every second putt, even the 8 footer, though. So, I mentioned that we tied all the holes. Love this new putting stroke.
