Another "bad" 76 . Hit about one or two good shots beyond 80 yards. Good thing I can putt. This would have been a 79 last year, after all.

43-39 for an 82. Pretty abysmal front 9 until I birdied the last, it's a 450 yard par-4 so always nice to get a birdie there. Played much better on the back 9 and left 3 putts on the lip, couldn't complain as they were all in the 10-15ft range. One 3-putt all day on the first, so all in all pretty satisfied with my days work.

Second round today, a 74 at Lake View . Was perhaps my most boring round of golf ever played.

Started off well today, then fell apart, must not have even broke 90, Really didnt try on the last 9 holes. Everything was wrong today, shoes didn't feel right, couldn't find my glove, spent 15 bucks on a peice of shit Nike glove that is poking my hands with velcro and stabbing into the webs inbetween my fingers, to find that I found my glove in a pocket I never put it in, got a severe foot pain on 13 from these new shoes. Big pain in the ass golf today.

rant over?

Shot an 81 at Bridgewater Golf Club over in Lakeland, Florida. The course was short, but fairly difficult. Several large deep bunkers surrounding each green. Kind of a links-style course, or at least as close to it as we get here in Florida.

I shoot an 80 my best 18 ever. 41 on the front nine and 39 on the back nine. I played very very well, even though I wasn't hitting my driver great, I hit my irons and wedges as best as I ever have. To top it off 8 greens in regulations helps a lot.

I played 36 yesterday with two different groups of guys. In the morning I shot a mediocre 96 and was pretty dissapointed.

The second round I was pretty tired and not in the best mood as I was expecting more from the first round. Then it began raining right before we were about to tee off on 1 so we had to head back and wait it out so then after another shower we finally got underway. I played the first half of the front nine awful and then the second half mediocre for a 46. On the back I picked it up alot and made abirdies and 4 more pars to go along with my 3 on the front and ended up with a 40 for a new all time low of 86 !

I am very happy about this especially since it was a pretty hard course and the fact I shot new low but I felt that I could do alot better and could have at least shot an 80 or 81 if I didnt play the front bad.

So next time here comes low 80's !

With an ear infection:

Figured golf was a good way to get the pain out of my head.
Played 9 holes. Shot 42 which is really good for me. Hit 5/7 fairways. Missed the green on both Par 3's. Great driving, ok irons, ok chipping, better than usual putting.

118.

43 putts and 8 penalty strokes certainly did not work in my favor this afternoon. See what happens tomorrow.

I threw my clubs into the lake so it's time to start over...

45-47 for a best ever 92. What's worse, is I four putted two par 3's that I hit in regulation. Sigh.

I never broke 100 before this summer and in the last month and a half, I have had four rounds in the nineties. The Sand Trap works!

43-37-80

Didn't play bad on the front, but lipped out a birdie and two par putts, but got up and down for a couple of pars and a bogey that helped. Missed a 5 footer for birdie on the back that would have put me at even on the back 9.

    • Correct. That's why the original tweet says "try to carry the ball the listed distance". 🙂
    • I can't wait until the first Tour player finds an error 16:00 after returning his scorecard. Look, the PGA Tour can do this, because they have the manpower and whatnot, but… I think this is a stupid over-reaction to Jordan Spieth having to poop. Particularly when he could have said "I'm sorry, I really have to go, I'll be right back and will sign my card then."
    • Yea, I can see that being read as, here are your options.  Ive seen text like this, including but not limited to... To make sure people know that these are not the only options.  If options include, implies here are just two examples, then fine.
    • You seem to have missed a critical word: Options include:
    • The USGA only has two options that the committee can govern "when" a card is returned.  Per the article... The underline part violates the USGA options for returning scorecards.  My initial response general on the time limit is incorrect, but the PGA Tour is still not going but he USGA guidance on having the score considered returned when the play leaves the scoring area. I amend my complaint to be this since I have found new evidence.
