Those of us who've worked w/5SK pros know the importance of getting your weight forward. Looking at videos of good players who do Key #2 very well, I noticed some have more lead foot roll, where the bottom of shoe leaves the ground, around the ball of foot area and some don't, let me rephrase that, have less of it and/or at the end of the swing, it settles back to the ground.

Is it a flexibility constraint where some can really get their weight forward w/o rolling their lead foot so much? I ask because the more I get K #2 I get, the more my lead foot rolls, kind of like Jordan Spieth. It feels off balance.

It also depends on whether your foot is flared out, too. More foot flare = less need to roll the ankle.

Also do not neglect calf exercises regardless of whether or not you flare your feet.
