I have always liked Runyan's short game teachings. His chipping advice is still top of the line, even after all these decades have passed.

I have used his putting stroke, chipping style for many years.

These are really good videos

I like  Runyan's strategy for longer putts vs shorter putts.

He discuss trying to get to around the hole for longer putts.

Shorter putts he's more assertive uses the "never up and in method ". So ball has enough speed to go past the hole

I watched it again.

Few points I liked

- likes to have his eyes over the target line but behind the ball not directly over the ball. I think this might help roll the ball end over end without english

-chipping is exacting like his putting method. he calls it "one lever"  tries to get the ball rolling as soon as possible.

-minimize excessive wrist action .

-both his hands are 45 deg open (looks like weak left hand and strong right hand)
