#2 Golf...and any of the majors surpasses any other sporting event

#3 Tie... NFL...NCAA Basketball...NHL Hockey

At the other end of the spectrum, there are some activities (they don't qualify to be sports) like UFC that I wouldn't watch if you held a gun to my head.

Me too. I can't watch that stuff. As a society we are gradually returning to the mentality of entertainment consisting of watching guys with weapons kill each other (roman empire).

What I can't understand is, in football such a big deal is made over concussions, but in this 'sport' a guy can get hammered on the skull repeatedly over and over? I don't get it.

Golf - mostly just the majors.

I don't really watch much sports besides that.  I like watching (and playing) poker, but it's not really a sport, despite being televised on sports channels.
