i have to revise my christmas list.

I'm pretty excited. These are my first two name brand golf clubs. My wife has let me use my putter already. And, I'm looking forward to hitting the range and trying out my hybrid. I may take it to the park and try it out on Christmas day if I'm lucky enough.

I seriously doubt I'm going to get anything golf related for Xmas. My wife went into the "golf closet" and saw I had three bags full of clubs. I explained to her that I was building sets for my boys and I. She laughed. That said, I would really love a set of any of the following for Xmas.

For the holidays, two resolutions are my gift to myself:

1) Play more golf with all three of my daughters; and

2) Practice all aspects of my game more than I have in the past.

How are these resolutions gifts, you ask? In order to give myself these gifts, I have to give myself ( allow myself ) more time to do these things. That gift of time and that time spent with the girls as well as the practice time will be gifts that will continue to provide many happy returns for a long time. That's my idea of smart gift giving.

Not much golf related stuff on my list this year. The only thing would be the Nike Air Zoom Elite shoes. Anybody out there have them? I have the SP Saddle and the SP3 Swoosh that I love. Are these similar with the athletic shoe feel and a golf shoe style?

The only other thing that might make the list is a 907 driver. Not sure if I would go D1 or D2. In all likelyhood I will wait until just before the start of the season and get one gently used on ebay for 1/2 price.

I did get a few early presents this year. The best is probably a 13 month renewal to my Sirrius Radio subscription. I got the first year free with my truck. My in-laws picked up the second year for me.

One of my clients (personal training) just gave me two tickets to see the Pistons play the LeBron James and the Cavs. Great seats $175 each. He also gave me $250. That will likely just go into the general Christmas fund.

This isn't christmas list, but it's my birthday list, and my birthday is today (turned 15) and I got a new bag, Stable Loc Black and Gray bag. Also I got Genex ARC Blade Irons (3-PW TT DG S300), my mom ordered them online, and the place she go them for got to ship them. The funny part is that she also got me a laser range finder ( LR800, great so far) and the range finder was shipped in the same box as the clubs, and when they got here...there we no clubs! AHHH!!! But the company is shipped them out today, and at no extra cost add overnight or 2 day shipping (mom can't remember), GREAT BIRTHDAY!!!
