Late afternoons.  The weather cools off and usually less people.  I would say mornings but since I work, that isn't an option...

It's funny, everyone says they play in the morning because it's less busy, yet everyone is playing in the morning, how can that be?

I guess that's why my preferred afternoons are not very busy, I think mornings are the busiest time to play golf.

Reminds me of the Yogi Berra quote "Nobody goes there anymore.  It's too crowded".

 

I'm just happy to get out on the course.  I'd love to play more early mornings in the summer, but with working first shift, it's almost impossible to get out without taking time off work.  Plus if the dew's still on the grass, I have something to blame my poor play on.
