Sounds great!

I may be getting ahead of myself, but if we can generate enough interest, maybe we can do a friendly TST Carolina Tourney or something of the sort.

Thanks for posting :-)

So seems like there's enough interest to begin organizing. @mdaugherty24, would you be wiling to gather some preliminary details on playing a small (1 day, 6-8 player) tourney out in Pinehurst... sometime maybe in October?

I don't think my golf budget will allow me to play #2, though :-P

Hey all, I'm in Waxhaw and would be interested in meeting up.  Did you ever get an outing together?  I typically play Stonebridge, Edgewater, Lancaster, Eagle Chase, Monroe, etc.  I like to move around.

Hey there, I took a hiatus from a lot of social internet activity but I'm back now, so just now reading your post.

We play a lot of the same courses. Shoot me a private message and we can coordinate some time. I'm in Indian Trail which is not too far from you.

Cheers!

Hey yall. I just moved up to Skybrook in Huntersville but I still head down to the Divide and Olde Sycamore occasionally to switch things up. Would definitely be interested in getting together with some TST'rs to play this summer/fall.

    • Day 7 - Mirror work, trying to hit that PGA-logo position in my follow through. Mirror really helped, need to film soon.
    • So hit the😝 irons crooked AND play layup golf?? Hahaha.. no thanks. I would rather stay home. 😊
    • First - glad to see these popping up again. Now to the topic at hand - I would rather be option 1.  If I know how far it's going (I mean a yard or two) I can always play to the wider parts of the fairway and/or the green and still do reasonably well.  Now if I could just really hit the "number" that well.
    • Day 2 (10 Mar 25) - Long day of driving to dr appt with son.  Thankfully got in one of my fave putting drills (two ball side by side) - the goal to have both balls come off the putter face equally by having them come off the putter face as close to the same time as possible.  First few rolls - the toe was leading the way as that ball flew off the face.  By the end of the drill both balls were basically equal off the face, rolling to within a couple of inches of each other.  Nice drill of focusing on squaring the face.  BTW - I was using the old Odyssey DF992.
    • Day 161 - 2025-03-10 Got a decent, long session in. Focused mostly on the backswing feels, and moved on toward the end of the four hours (not all hitting balls, I installed a motion sensing light switch in there too, and worked with a student over FaceTime for a bit) on the downswing feel.
