Help me chose between these 2 iron sets. I have a choice between Mizuno T-Zoid Comp-EZ, and Titleist 755. Both are 3-PW and both are right at $100.00. I am a mid handicapper and am upgrading from some adams game improvement irons. Both of these seem like a good deal, and I am split between the 2.

Do you have to option to take them and try them out? Even if it's just at a range?

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with either set, so I can't offer any first hand experience. Only thing I can say is that the PGA value on the 755s is higher than the TZoids, so they are technically the better deal. Though being a better deal doesn't necessarily mean that they'll be better for you. But, they are 6 years newer being from 2005 as opposed to 1999. Personally, I'd go for the 755s. However, maybe someone who's had a chance to play these clubs will be able to give more insight other than just value and manufacture date though.

Thanks Jeremie. The year and the value were the only things I had to go off of so I was leaning towards the 755s myself. But I've always wanted a set of forged Mizunos so tough decision.

I would second @Jeremie Boop's recommendation based on the available factors. I don't think either is a bad choice but would flag the 755's as the better choice if it were me.

Do you have a Golfsmith or Golf Galaxy (or the like) in your area - someplace that sells used sets you could demo?  Good chance they'd have at least one of these models on the pre-owned rack and would let you try them out in the nets.

Driver- :nike: Nike VR-Pro Limited Edition 9.5* Diamana 'ahina Stiff Flex 3 Wood- :titleist: Titleist 980 5 Wood- :tmade: Taylormade R9 3i-PW- :tmade: Taylormade Tour Preferred (Dynamic Gold S300) Putter- :tarmour: Tommy Armour T-Line 150 (it's old but I love it and haven't been able to find anything that feels better)

Neither of the golf shops in my area have these clubs. I can get both sets for less than $200. I am thinking at this point to pick up both sets and sell the loser of the 2.

That's not a bad option if you can afford it.

I have only had 2 sets of irons so far. Titleist 990's, and Mizuno MP H4. Both are excellent, and I doubt you could go wrong here.

My 990's came with regular shafts (came to like x-stiff), and I banged them up digging trenches, so I bought the Mizuno's on a good deal. I would still be playing the 990's otherwise.

Personal opinion: 755's look great

Im liking the 755s based on the research. I still need some forgiveness so it will come down to that once I hit them.

I believe both sets are forged.

I haven't play any of the old Mizuno's so I don't have much insight on them. However, I have had multiple friends play that model of Titlesist irons and say it was one of their best years of club making. Personally I would go with the first one.
