Is anyone here rooting for anyone in particular in Q-School? My favorites - and by favorites, I don't mean who I think has the best shot at winning, but who I would like to see come out on top - are (in alphabetical order):

Notah Begay III - I just like him.
Craig Kanada - same.
Colt Knost - It would be a mighty shame if he misses his card after giving up those Masters invites!
Frank Lickliter II - I really like FL2, and the work he does for programs like Birdies for the Brave is outstanding.
Daniel Summerhays - I was just really impressed with his win this summer, and I'd like to see more of him. I follow far more of the PGA Tour than I do of the Nationwide Tour. At least until there becomes a NWT fantasy golf.
Esteban Toledo
Y.E. Yang - especially after that mishap last year kept him from a 2007 card.

Plainly, I don't wish anyone at Q-school bad luck, and their absence from this list shouldn't be interpreted as such.

Anyone else rooting for anyone in particular for getting through Q-School?

Hey, glad to see someone else interested in q-school. The guys I know washed out in 1st stage, so I've been a bit depressed, but there's always next year.

Of your picks, the only ones that interest me are Begay and Lickliter. There are a lot of other guys I like, namely Spencer Levin, Duffy, Bob May, Steve Pate, Chris Riley, Hunter Haas, Tag Ridings, and Casey Wittenberg.

Colt Knost leaves me cold, I have no interest in him whatsoever. To give up his place in the Masters and the US Open, it's just beyond me. Can't identify with the guy at all.

Kevin Johnson and Geoff Sisk. Just two locals who have been grinding it out for a long time.

Duffy is a member at my club so I'm definitely rooting for him.

Darren Angel played high school golf the same years as me. I never knew him, but I sorta have to root for him being a local guy.

I'd also like to see Colt Knost make it. Along with Matt E from BB.

For those of you following Q school, if you have not done so, you should read Feinstein's book: Tales from Q School. This is a great book and takes you through the emotional roller coaster that is Q School. A must for any golf enthusiast.

I just want to put into print that I hope he plays very well on Nationwide,(he is exempt because of 2006 New Zealand Open Champ),in 2008 and gets back to P.G.A. Go Jimmy Go!! Thanks for letting me get my 2 cents in.

Tommy Gainey. He actually can pass for an average joe. Most Tour pros have the appearance of machines (although I know it's not true, it just appears so.)

Most of the guys I'm sort of rooting for aren't anywhere near the top: Waldorf, Begay III, and Knost. (I have no particular or personal interest in these guys. I'd just like to see Waldorf and Begay III do well, and I can't imagine what Knost will feel like if he doesn't get his card, after giving up those invites.) Tag Ridings, though, is doing very well.

Does anybody have a prediction on a card-earning score? Do guys like Waldorf, Begay III, and Knost have anything like a decent shot?

Can't keep those Gateway Tour players down!

Gainey, Johnson...Pope. Tough crowd.

I hope Pope at least makes a Nationwide exemption. He's a grinder and still works bag drop with a smile for non-tippers. Awesome guy.
