Shooting Your Age - How Close So Far?

I love this milestone because it's achievable by being exceptionally good at golf as you age OR being decent at golf and staying fit for a long time.  I hope to be lucky enough to pull either of those off.

So far, the closest I've come is +31 (a 73 earlier this year, at 42 years old). I have plenty of years to practice before its remotely possible. :)

I shot my age for 9 holes when I was 35. Probably when I was 34 too, but since it's nine holes, I don't consider that to qualify. I figure I have another 30 years or more before I have to worry about this.

Yes it's was bad humor. I'd have to have a very bad day to not keep it under 48. My 9 scores are in the 37-43 range. The age thing is more for old guys that keep it under 85ish. I have a way to go to get there.
