Driver Shaft Prices

I have decided to go for a driver shaft fitting, but have no idea what is reasonable price wise.  I know they run from moderate to very expensive.  I want to get the shaft that is best for me, but I also don't want to get shafted.  (Sorry couldn't resist)

Just go do the fitting and discuss options with your fitter. Figure out what price range you are comfortable with and let them know so they know how to work with you.

Many manufacturers are including upgrade shafts and no additional cost.  Cobra just recently reduced the MAP pricing on their drivers and added some additional shaft upgrades with no upcharge.  Callaway and others also offer a wide selection of shaft upgrades so I'd test a bunch of them and see which one provides the best results.  

You may be able to get a new driver with the shaft you want for the same price  or less than the shaft that fits you best.

I got a Matrix Ozik Black Tie shaft included in my Callaway driver no upcharge.

I am going to be professionally fit this Thursday, and I will post how it turns out.
