I am currently looking to find a carry golf bag for me. I want something with a fair number of pockets, light, has water bottle holder, and priced about $150 or lower. I found nike sport lite II.. does anyone know if it's a quality product? Or are there any other suggestions?

Not sure about the Nike Sport Lite II, but i just purchased a Sun Mountain Four 5 a few weeks ago.  I can't imagine finding a better carry bag and it checks all the boxes you mention.  It looks like the website where i bought mine are all sold out, but I got the 2015 version on closeout for $115, and am certain it will go down as one of the best golf purchases I ever make.

I am just about to buy a golf bag too. My eyes stopped on Callaway 2016 Hyper-Lite 5 Stand Bag. I read some reviews online and looks like a good pick.

Looks like a good choice. What do you guys think? Just in case I'll attach the photo too.

Any advice?

I have the Callaway Hyper-Lite bag (last years model).  Great bag, I like it a lot.  Holds everything I need and isn't too heavy to lug around on the back when I don't have my pushcart.

Check the material between the pockets and the main club compartment. I wore holes in two bags over seven years from the grips wearing through the nylon. Thin material on Nike bags.

I don't know.  The OP lives in Minneapolis.  He's probably looking at 30-35 rounds a year.  100ish rounds in 3 years.  It's been a long time since I carried my clubs, but it seems like a bag should last longer than that, shouldn't it?

In David's bag....

My first bag was a Mizuno. The lower tier model, I held on to it for 5 yrs but it looked terrible in 3 yrs...I walked every course I played and I was playing once per week. I would keep it in my SUV and the sun ruined the color.

If I had to guess, a 3yrs life span for a bag for folks who walk the courses and play at least once a week is probably fair. I would be happy to buy a new bag every 3yrs. as long as I don't tell my wife.

Considering this post was in August, I hope the OP found a bag. If not, Id recommend the Sun Mountain 2.0. I got one in November as we walk the course from Dec-Feb, so I wanted something light. Its been a great bag so far, but Ill probably go back to a mid size staff bag when we can ride carts off the path again. Its just better to have a bit more space and clubs never get stuck. I really like the sun mountain 2.0, though, when carrying my clubs or traveling.

    • Day 5- Slow,  short swings with short practice club.
    • Lemme guess….’ We don’t want any confrontation so nobody says anything.’ Sheesh…..Call him out and fix the problem.
    • Went to a PING fitting day today. Going to be ordering a G430 Max 3w with a 75g x-stiff shaft at 5w length and a 3h. I forget what my fitter did with the shaft on that but she told me she’s going to email the club the specs of everything. The 3w combination we found pretty quickly. As for the hybrid, we tried a bunch of different head and shaft combinations for that distance with mixed results. Then she handed me the 3h and I took three swings with it and knew it was the one.
    • Yeah, this isn't sandbagging. It's outright cheating. He should be banned.
    • That’s quite a generalization. It’s clear that you don’t like water but there are plenty of us that drink it just fine. My daily intake is usually about 20oz of black coffee, 16oz of soda, 8oz of milk mixed into a protein shake, and anywhere between 30-60oz of water. It doesn’t even need to be cold and I kind of prefer it closer to room temperature than cold. I quite like the taste of tap water, with sole exception being the tap water at Magic Kingdom (it’s terrible). I can’t stand when people bring me tap water with a lemon wedge in it. I didn’t ask for lemon in my water.
