Mildly interesting article up on the Golf Digest website.

So, how many?

Additionally intriguing, if the over/under line was 2, would you bet it? Over or under?

I voted for two, so I wouldn't place a bet. But the over would be enticing.

I'll say two wins this coming season for Tiger. One at Torrey Pines (U.S. Open) and the other at Oakland Hills (PGA). I think Phil will win his fourth major at Augusta, and possibly one of the young upstarts (Scott, Garcia, Rose, or Baddeley) will win at Royal Birkdale (The British). I'm sure it won't even remotely turn out that way, but those are just my predictions.

I'm down for two. Betting against Tiger at Torrey Pines is a no-no. Same with Augusta. As for the last two of the year, I would bet that he'll make one of them for certain if he misses one of the first two. Otherwise, I don't know of his track record at those courses. But his record at Augusta National and Torrey Pines are great. That and he's Tiger.

Masters: Someone who hits the ball a mile, I think, doubly so if they can putt lights out. The former: someone like Bubba, JB Holmes, or someone like that. The latter? Jim Furyk and Tiger. (Granted, Zach Johnson averaged 265 yards that week off the tee. Golf is anyone's game, and pros all have the skill to beat one another.)

US Open: I keep pulling for Jim Furyk, because when US Open rough begins to look like my hair in the morning, I vote for someone who can hit the ball straight.

British Open: I think this one's truly the wildcard. I'll say Garcia just for the hell of it.

PGA: Actually I don't even know much about the course, so I can't really say. I'll throw in Phil, because he's due for another win, anyway.

Bottom line: Tiger will probably win one. Guessing by what others say about Torrey Pines, he'll win one or the other.

He is winning the US Open at Torrey Pines for sure. He's a SoCal boy. Probably the Masters too. I say two. That is of course if I don't steal the US Open title from him...

Like the attitude, I wish the actual pros would have that same mindset. Except for Phil, Vijay, and Zach Johnson the rest of the tour has succumbed to Tiger. Instead of being in awe of him they need to get their act together and challenge him!

No I didn't. I said Phil, I saw what he did at the Deutche Bank Championship this season. I greatly enjoyed him taking down Mr. Woods.

Why do you think we're all rooting for Ben to make it to the PGA Tour? Other than how cool it would be to hear a victory speech that included thanking his "friends at The Sand Trap dot com".

hahaha, thanks! I was on the range watching Tiger at Sherwood thinking to myself. "His swings not that different from mine. I can putt as good as he can. Why can't this be my time to take down Tiger?" Must have been the Grey Goose talking...

I'm as high on Adam Scott as anyone, but I'm just not sure if he's able to tackle Augusta yet. The young man can strike the ball like no one's business, but he's just such an inconsistent putter and below average around the greens. It just takes a great putting effort, above all else, to win at Augusta, yet maybe he'll find his touch this season.
