Cheers fella for the help, like i said i tried the 5 iron 600C in the net at the workshop and it felt really nice, and im picking up the custom made demo 6 iron 600B on friday, the bloke fitting them (from golf smith) is a top man as well, getting good vibes about these irons lol

I had a hit of the Taylormade Rac MB TP the other day and they look great, feel amsome and they perform well. They are actually fairly forgiving and have a good trajectory even though the shafts in them were X-Stiff.

Let me know how you like them. Make sure the guy does a custom fit on lie angle for you and the shafts are cut to the right length. The guy who did mine never did the lie angle and I just got it done after having the clubs two years last week. I had them adjusted two degrees upright after hitting off a lie board. Cant wait to try them out in the spring.

I play the Callaway XFORGED irons and I love them. They are the best clubs I have ever had. I also really like the mizuno mp 67's but got a better deal on the Callaways so I went with them.

For the heads, Dyna Light shafts, 8 multicompound grips, custom fitting etc etc cost me £444, with good service too.

Should hopefully be picking them up on January 4, i will let everyone know what they are like.

Give a look at Titleist 695CB's for your long irons and Titleist 695mb's for your scoring irons. Great clubs

Yeh I did get them in the end, absolutely love them great feel and can shape them any way you want, since buying these my ball striking has improved no end (and I always considered myself a good ball striker lol) good for chipping with etc etc, not as long as my old X Tours but the accuracy makes up for that, really happy with them

I am looking for a new set of irons after Christmas and would like your opinions/ feedback on clubs that you are using and have used to help me come up with my own conclusion on what to buy, obviously i will be trying out the clubs extensively first but info from people who play with them day in day out would be much appreciated.

I play an older set of MX Mizuno's, but this years next set will likely be an MP Mizuno. For the forseable future I would expect to buy Mizuno irons, I don't think you'll be disappointed with any model. I'm leaning toward the 32s. Good luck bud!

In my bag you'll find lots of left-handed clubs like these:

i think you should seriously consider the new Callaway Forged,

Having spoken to Craig Parry (last months Australian Open winner), he believes that they give him the workability of any blade he has used, but with the forgiveness of any OS club.

that coming from a seasoned pro is HUGE.
