Hey there. Just landed here. Looks like a nice forum so I joined! I'm in the Sacto area. Been playing for about 19 years, started later than most. My son is starting to play so I have a renewed interest in the game. 

FORE!!!

Custom fit RBZ irons. Taylormade RBZ driver. Some crappy old high-bounce Macgregor wedge and an even older Mizuno 5 wood. Haven't settled on a ball yet - still looking. Decades of football, weightlifting and boxing came together to create the world's worst golfer. I'm slowly correcting that now.

Welcome to TST - @HitAndGiggle  Glad to have you aboard.

With winter approaching, members often look forward announcements from Manufactures to boast about their new latest and greatest.
The  PGA Show is just around the corner and is always exciting.
Many members attend along with TST's very own founder and newly awarded - 
Golf Digest "Best Young Teachers in America" 2016-17 , the one and only @iacas

If your into Fantasy Golf, the Sand Trap has a league which ranks in the top every year on Yahoo.
And, the Boyz will be back on tour just after the New Year.

Even with many unable to play regularly, there's always new topics and old discussed on the site.
