Good to see his schedule filling out. Hopefully he'll get 2017 off to a great start with an early season win.

He also officially committed to Riviera, which is nice. I'm pumped to see him back at Torrey in particular.

Good to have him playing a full slate again. Im interested to see what he does on familiar courses with his new game, but my expectations aren't very high for him anymore.

I was never one to doubt tiger, but i think his competitive days are finished. He might pop up in the top ten every now and then, but i don't think he's ever going to win another tournament.

Tiger Woods’ early-season schedule is filling out.

It was announced Wednesday that Woods would play the Farmers Insurance Open Jan. 26-29 in La Jolla, Calif., and the Honda Classic Feb. 23-26 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Woods also previously committed to the Genesis Open Feb. 16-19 in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

And then on Thursday morning, Woods posted a blog on his website in which he announced he was also playing the Omega Dubai Desert Classic Feb. 2-5 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Woods hasn’t played the European Tour event since 2014, and he won it in 2006 and ’08.

This year’s Dubai Desert Classic field will also feature Rory McIlroy, as well as last year’s British Open winner Henrik Stenson and defending Masters champ Danny Willett.

The Dubai commitment means Woods will play four times in five weeks. His off week will be between Dubai and the Genesis Open at Riviera.

Seems like an awful lot of golf and travel. It's exciting that he feels ready for that sort of schedule, though in a way disappointing that maybe he didn't learn his lesson about patience. Hopefully it's mainly the former.

If he can stay healthy and play the weekend at all of those events, that would be great news for Tiger. He definitely needs to get out there and play. Especially if he wants his game to get up to speed by the Masters. If he can get some form going (and I really just mean strong finishes, not winning), he'll be a threat at Augusta.

If he's let the back injury fully heal, then I doubt it'd be a problem. But yeah, if he's pushing himself, and he gets hurt again, that would really suck.
