Welcome from Texas.

How are you just now getting into golf? I thought everyone from Ireland was born with golf clubs in their hands.

Carry on my wayward drive

There'll be pars when you are done

Lay your weary wedge to rest

Don't you shank no more

I have been asking myself the same question.Better late than never.I live beside a course now,and 5 mins from another course,so decided to give it a go,and it's been great. There are many golfers in my family,so i did have a club in my hand from an early age, played pitch and putt all my life just never made the jump to full golf.Until recently.

Morning and welcome! Enjoy the site and I'm sure you'll get a lot out of it. I'm hopefully heading over to Ireland for my 30th in a year's time to play a few courses with some friends; you've got some stunners near you (take some pictures!).

Lahinch is not far,its a pretty famous course, have'nt played it though. Doonbeg (trump's course) is close too but I have'nt seen it or spoken to anyone who has played it.

Welcome!

I have played Lahinch as well as Ballybunion, amazing courses, didn't make it over to Doonbeg. I am definitely planning to make it back sometime.

Western Ireland is beautiful.

Welcome from Michigan.   Don't hesitate to ask questions.    This site is very opinionated but fair and full of good advice.
