How would you play Augusta?

18th.

Slice into trees on right 100 yards short of where the pros hit it.

Try to hit a low 5 iron out of the trees to a spot 120 yards short of the green.

Hit it OK but it hits a pine cone and shoots back into the trees.

Hit a good one but I'm 40 yards short of the bunker on the right.

This pitch shot looks perfect - I'll have a tap in.

Unfortunately, what I thought was a great shot has hit a slope and I'm in a collection area 20 yards off the green.

Good chip, but I've got a nasty sidehill putt. Looks good, but gravity takes over and I have a six footer coming back.

It misses and I tap in for an 8.

Amazing, because I thought I'd have a 7 or 8 iron for my second, but on being there in reality, I realise that there's no way I'd ever hit it in two even with a hybrid.

ild be playing the 1st as a 3 shooter too,diver hopefully about 220 and straight followed by a 9 iron,to hopefully leave me a nice full swing with the gap wedge.and 2 putt for a 5,to walk off with a bogy.at least thats how it would go in my head. more likely to miss the fairway,find a bunker with my layup,scramble  onto the green in 5.then 2 putt to within 2 feet,to miss the tap in and walk off with a 8

I would love to be so consistent with my results that I could preplan a round. I'm not. I would wait till the ball stopped rolling on my first drive and figure out what to do next from there.

Hole two would be driver hybrid and then something from 150 in ideally for me.  Gotta drive it in play.

I have eagled a par five at 530,  but it was late summer down wind with firm fairways straight hole.  I would not reach hole 2 at Augusta and would consider anything from 160 in on my third as my goal.

I think if they were witnessing my game after about the first two holes they would give me the hook.

Hole 3 is only 350.  Prominent fw bunkers on left.  I don't know how far they are off the tee.  I'd probably look to hit hybrid to 150 and rely on my ironplay.
