Not a bad day, Golf in January in NW Ohio

God just gave me a bonus Christmas gift... I actually got to golf with the new sticks I got for Christmas... on January 7th... in short sleeves... even managed an 80 in 15-30 mph winds. Not a bad day at all. Would've broke 80 if I didn't end up with a junk lie just off the green on 18.

What a great suprise today... did anyone else that lives North of the Ohio River get out today.

Not able to get out due to work but i will be hitting the range over the next couple of days. Not the course but hey its better than the alternative.

Does just barely south of the Ohio River count? It was 70, officially at Cincinnati. I actually broke a sweat on the course today. Shot 85-ish, would have been 82 or less if I didn't try to kill the ball when the wind was in my face.

It hovered around 65 here today. Great golfing weather!!

I only went to the range, but it felt like spring is upon us!

Also... forgot to mention this, but I played my 18 holes in just 2 hours and 30 minutes walking.

Played yesterday in 57-58 degree weather in Central PA. Loved it! I think the 89 (48/41) I shot put me in a good mood. I finished birdie/par/par/par! Too bad my reporting season is over

Thank the lord for global warming - it was 20 degrees last week.

I got a round in today (Columbus, OH here). I wore shorts and a polo shirt and still broke a decent sweat walking the links. I shot an average round for me, but even the worst round of golf beats the best day of work any day.

Well it was good while it lasted... forecast says lots of rain today, but still warm... 60ish, but tomorrow back to a high of 40, and the 30's and snow follow later this week. Oh well, have a hockey game tonight anyway, at least I won't be tired from golfing all day.
