i will try to post a video toninght that i took this weekend.  I have been struggling with big hooks on my driver misses.  I noticed in my video that my club is swinging lower and around my body.  I think i maybe taking it back too far to the inside and swinging in to out since i started out with a slice earlier in the year and now my big misses are mostly hooks and sometimes a big push.  Is there some drills or something i can work on to get that fixed?  Should i be working on a steeper backswing and swinging more on a nuetral path on the down swing?  I also noticed my legs and hips move around alot during the backswing.  SHould i be keeping my hips and feet quiet during the backswing?  My left heel raises really high

I'm sure your video will allow people who are more knowledgeable than me to diagnose your issue, but in the meantime...What works for me when I start getting too flat is to focus on getting my left (lead) should working down instead of level on the backswing.

So during the backswing when rotating, rotate the left shoulder down towards the ball?

Yes, exactly. For me it's hard to overdo, although like anything I'm sure it's possible :)

My first suggestion is that you shouldn't be trying to diagnose your problems, you almost certainly don't have the skills to do it.  Most people don't have the ability.  Before you decide to try something different, get the video up, and get some advice from a knowledgeable source.  I'd bet that what you see as the problem, your flatter swing, isn't the cause, but is rather the result of something else, something like your set-up or your shoulder turn or your hip rotation or something else entirely.  You'll want to fix that "something else", not try to band-aid some random "corrections" together.

I will take another video tonight. It looks good lol. One thing I noticed last night was I moved ball a lot more forward in my stance like even with big toe and I was getting straight long shots and felt like I could come from the inside a lot easier

Not yet, but i did notice the ball placement has been alot to do with it.  I have been taking the club back a little higher and playing with the ball stance and that has helped alot. starting the club head about 3-5 inches behind the ball has helped also, i think it is helping keeping my shoulders more square than open.  I been practicing the throwing the club drill which helps mentally on the downswing also.  I would have a drive that would be pulled to the left on only a couple holes instead of most of them

    • I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. Than i got myself a new putter Odyssey S2S jailbird yes i joined the centershaft family
    • First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
