I am looking for suggestions on courses to play between IND and SB. Unfortunately we already booked flights and cannot make it to Crooked Stick in time. Public or private, just looking for very well kept tracks.

There's a pair of Pete Dye courses at Purdue University in West Lafayette.

I have actually played them both. Do you (or anyone else) have insight into their condition recently?

Sandy Pines Golf course. It is a fantastic course. I've played in two scrambles there.

I haven't played there since 2014.  Of the two courses, I played his Kampen course a couple of times and it was in great condition then.  The other (Ackerman Hills) was completely redesigned by Dye in the last couple of years--torn up, plowed up, re-routed--and is now called Ackerman-Allen.  My son graduated from Purdue before it was finished, so I haven't been there to play it since they finished it.
