TRUE Linkswear Revitalized in 2017 (**Two New Models!**)

Got these for christmas today. Wore them around the house for a bit they are very comfortable and lightweight, the wide toe box is nice too. Sizing is perfect, I wear an 11.5 in adidas golf shoes and went with that size for these and they fit perfect. Cant wait to get them out on the course!

What are all those brown speckles on the soles?  Are you already walking off-fairway, chasing balls into the rough?

They're not brown. They're blue, and it's just a pattern in the sole rubber.

I had to send me Beloved Trues back. Waterproofing failed. Slight issue when they sent me a new pair they goofed and sent me a pair someone else probably gave a try. They are sending me a new new pair. Oh well. They were cool about it. Things happen.

Update:  True sent me back my old Originals with new insoles and 2 leather wipes. They also sent me a brand new pair due to the waterproofing fail. 
 

They included a towel, koozie and a shoe horn for my trouble. 
 

Great customer service. Still awesome shoes.

Just ordered another pair of the Originals. The white and grey. With all the new styles and colors I have stuck with buying the 3 original colors.

Wore my Originals on the course for the first time on Saturday and wow I was blown away. My feet felt so comfortable with 0 fatigue/soreness in my feet after the round compared to my adidas shoes. I think it was on the second hole I was walking and realized how light they felt.

The grass was wet since we played in the morning, my feet didnt get wet at all and the dirt wiped right off at the end of the round. 

I also didn't slip at all, footing felt very stable and the course we played on had some very sloped fairways and uneven lies and I felt solid the entire round.

No issues at all so far and I highly recommend these and will probably pick up another pair soon.

@iacas need your input if you wouldn’t mind. Just bought The Majors in the same size as The Original. First impression is they feel snug. However my longest toe does not touch. It feels like it does. My question will these stretch a tad? I don’t think I need the larger size and think this is just my foot being so used to the other shoe. Am i correct?

They are a bit smaller but they will stretch a bit. How tight is tight? Because most of the shoes are within a half size of each other. The Major sits a little "taller" too — you can swap the insoles out from the others if you want to try that out and it'll lower the floor a little bit and give you a bit more room.

I'd write to them, too, but I know the Majors were obviously just cleared out.

11.5. The toe is where it feels tight to me. I can slip them off with ease and get them on with ease. They sit a bit higher and i can definitely tell the insoles are thicker.

Played my first round in The Majors. Very stable shoe, a bit like a driver. I had the dial them in. Switched the insoles to my Originals, and the shoe is loose around the mid part. Once I switched insoles and laced them tighter good to go. Very comfortable. Glad I finally bought a pair.

Bought both the TL-01 (because it was on sale and for wet conditions, haven't tried these on yet), and the ECO knit (because it was the cheapest and for dry weather). They got here today about 20 minutes before I was due to leave for pool league, so I decided to wear the ECO knits out for the night. HOLY....are they some comfortable shoes, and light as all get-out. The fit was perfect for my normal size 10 feet, and I couldn't be happier. I will be replacing my Nike Roshe G (dry weather), and goodwill FJs (wet weather), immediately with these shoes. I love the fact that they look like normal shoes, and wear like normal shoes off of the course. What a brilliant design from TLW.

It is that time of year again, going to do the mystery box this Monday with True Linkswear. I now have the 2 models I like so taking a flyer doesn’t seem too bad. 
 

On a separate note it seems True has raised their prices a bit. The Original was $149. Now listed at $160.

I received my mystery box from True today. A bit disappointed to be honest.  A towel, $50 gift card and 2 pairs of Eco Knits. 
 

The reason for my disappointment is that 2 pairs of the same shoes in different colors and gift card just seems boring. I would have preferred some random items as opposed to adding $25 extra to a gift card and a 2nd pair of shoes. I guess the mystery box is not for me.

It's "boring" but you did get your value for sure, no?

Sure. They use it, I'm sure, to get rid of color ways or models that they otherwise weren't able to move. What colors did you get?
