On the range and with GPS, 150-155 with a smooth 80% swing.

My old 7-iron Ram laser Fx about 160-165 yards.My new 7-iron about 180 yards.(Taylormade R7's)Now,If I could just hit my driver 300yards.

I'm in between two choices. These days I'm getting a 7 iron out 165-175 yards.

dude... you've got no clue. i started golf academy when i was about 13 at a country club back home in tyler. i was taller than most of the kids, so it was a lot harder to coordinate myself. they'd hit it straight and easy. even now, i sort of envy shorter, more compact people on the golf course. now of course i can hit it a long ways, but i can also hit it a long way into the woods.

i hit the 7 iron 170-175. Im with the poster above, sure i can hit it far..... far into the woods.

I usually hit it about 180, can and have hit it 185 if i really go after it, but increases my chances of a bad swing.

With my old irons (Titleist 690CBs) I hit the 7 iron 155, and my new AP2's I hit the 7 iron like 165 now.
