Day 57:

Full swing practice with 6-iron, and a few balls with fairway wood.

Day 586, June 11, 2024

Caddied all day yesterday (36), so hit a few pitch shots back to my player when he was warming up. That was over five minutes so I'm counting it.

Today… I played 18 holes at Whispering Woods. Front nine was exaggerated practice (hit some REALLY spectacular shots), back nine was really really solid playing with two birdies and almost nothing else that could have caused a bogey.

Day 3:  Spent a couple hours at top golf.  The woman’s pw was so short and heavy compared to mine, weird.

Day 171: 6/11/24

Putting through gates and slow motion swings with a pitching wedge.

Day 41 (11 Jun 24) - long day of travel, managed some mirror work in hotel room…

Day 89. Did a Stack Cruiser session after a long break and crushed my previous best. Have been working out with kettlebells recently and that plus the evolvr technique work have really helped I guess. 

Then I did some technique practice. Went back to practicing setup using feels from the 30 day practice plan day 22 videos. Felt so much more comfortable over the ball.

Day 60:

Lesson today, and then spent some time later working on piece from lesson (stop dumping the clubface early). This one feels hard, and is going to force me to also  work harder on grip, which can get real palmy in lead hand.

Day 157 - Full swings working on foot pressure, really trying to get into my left heel more.

Day 4:  Putting and practice with my irons this morning at home.

Day 90. Played 9 before work. Speed did not translate onto the course. Learned a couple things about my direction though and had fun. Hit a couple good shots and a few not so good. Need to learn to save the doubles and triples and turn them into bogeys.

Day 5. Worked on setup, alignment and backswing at the gym. Left hip still too sore to swing.

Day 42 (12 Jun 24) - The resort where we’re staying has a sweet 9 hole putt putt course…what better way than to roll the ball on some decent artificial greens that are not greased lightning but also not humpy lumpy. Able to work on pace and lagging of the ball to the cup with decent success …..and still lost to my grandson by 3 strokes….such is life!

Day 172: 6/12/24

Chipping with a variety of clubs trying to simulate Pinehurst. Had a lot of fun.

Day 61:

Worked on priority piece using 5-iron with half swings, making sure grip was good before each swing. Lots of rehearsals. Initially ball starting right and curving right, so once I’m comfortable with the concept I’ll need to incorporate face/path work to get ball flight on target.

Day 158 - More work on getting the pressure into my left heel during the downswing.

Played 18 holes with Sculley. Some really good shots in there. I'm doing the right things, and it's coming together.

Day 43 (13 Jun 24) - 2nd day at resort, LegoLand Fl, so another day of a using the mini golf course to work on pace and break on the “greens”….
