Built by the same outfit, correct? I like Pinecrest.

Yes; owned and run by the same outfit back in the day (around 2000) now ownership has separated. I like Pinecrest a lot and will probably play there again next week.

Day 34:

Did some short game drills and then played around with my new, old PING Eye 2 irons to see how they felt before pulling the shafts. Then took a 4 hour break from from golf to do yardwork. Then did a little more practice on priority piece with a 6 iron, and then hit some almost golf balls with driver to warp it up.

Day 56 (22 Apr 23) - Hit with the wedges some in the backyard today, trying to dodge the light rain.  Worked on keeping the stance slightly open with good torso rotation.

Day 30: Stack training and hit 110 in session 15. Had minor surgery on my neck Friday for skin cancer and thought I took it easy today. Should have surpassed my 111 high from session 14, but had a slower 4th swing. Also had a putter fitting at Golf Galaxy. Fitter said there was no need to change putters, but my backswing was occasionally too long and I decelerated.  That said, I made almost everything in our putting even with putters he thought might be a better fit.  Worked on a tighter, more upbeat stroke this evening. We will see…

Day 29: 23 Apr

Range session (100 balls) trying to turn drills into results. Plenty of practice swings between shots, trying not to over-swing (key swing thought for the session). There’s a slight loss of distance, but what appears to be far more control. Naturally there’s some bad shots in there - I had to remind myself of my key swing thought midway through the session - but overall the results were really positive.

Also yay for reaching week 5 of daily practice!

Day 35:

Played 18, really had things going on the first 9, and then not so good on the back 9.

Back to day 1: Just got back from a golf trip and there was no practicing. I noticed that I struggled a bit with getting to my lead side. Timing/sequence wasn’t great which I figure was just due to trying to have the lead knee behave a little bit differently which was new. Hit it pretty well. Worked on the knee moving more in and not out in backswing and getting bend in downswing. Keeping the shoulders in and not spinning as well (which I have a tendency to do).

Day 31: Worked on building a short base putting stroke - one grip back and one through. Tendency is to be a little long on th3 backswing, but this is a new drill.

Day 174, April 23, 2023

Big travel day so minimal work, but did some stuff in the mirror of the hotel while watching the LPGA major playoff.

Day 58 (24 Apr 23) - Swing rehearsals today - focused on "getting into the slot" so to speak, thinking "through not to the ball".  Hit a few hard foam balls with driver and then some with 5i and 7i.

Ping G410 3w R flex

Day 30: 24 Apr

Golf lesson, focusing on understanding the feels I’m getting from a neutral -> in-to-out swing path. A tweak in my feeling of where the club is going post impact took a -2 to -3 swing path to a near-perfect swing path. I’m still losing it a little when it comes to fairway woods, but I understand where I’m trying to go with the club. Also talked about pre-shot routine and having a single swing thought at most; creating a clear picture of what I’m trying to do with the shot.

Day 32: Stack training session 16. Good session and hit 111 eSpeed and a distance potential of 312 yards. 4th and final swing was slow or I could have been a little higher. Did a little chipping and putting first thing this morning.
