Day 168 - 2025-03-17

Got a good hour of practice in. Recorded videos, too, which was important.

Day 38: St. Patrick’s Day

Putting through 50 mm gates for about 20 minutes. Needed to work on distance control along with start line.

Day 13 - More work trying to get full swings to feel comfortable while standing closer to the ball. Really focusing on ball-first contact.

Day 7 March 18th, 2025

Hit a small bucket at the range. Bad range session. Struggle bus for right arm stuff in the downswing.

Day 169 - 2025-03-18

Got downtown 3 hours before lessons, so I worked for at least 90 minutes on the golf swing with lots of breaks. Feeling good about what I need to do. Can do it all the time at slower speeds.

Day 9 (18 Mar 25) / Played 9 with my good friend Mike - was a solid head wind going out and just as solid tail wind coming in. With 7 club setup, made for thinking course management - to play into a good distance for the known yardages of the clubs in play….

Day 241: Just a bit of mirror work today. Checking wrist stuff in the backswing and working on lower body stuff as well.

Day 14 - Short game work today. Pitching and putting felt good, but chipping needs some attention.

Day 8 March 19th, 2025

Bad first half of the bucket, better back half since I slowed stuff down. backswing swing path and better arm path in the downswing.

Day 170 - 2025-03-19

Played 18 holes at Whispering Woods. Hit a few shots that are pretty good and what I'm looking for, but it's still early in the downswing stuff. I am annoyed by the few swings I made with a bad backswing (left wrist).

Day 10 (19 Mar 25) - Pw work in the backyard…worked on full pre-shot setup and rehearsal.  Primary focus was on getting a feel for turf interaction with the club.  The working to have the shot have a similar “feel”.  Made for much more consistent shot accuracy with short (10-30yd shots).

Day 242: more mirror work today. Doing the same lower body in the backswing stuff.

Day 40: 3/19/25

Chipping practice followed by some slow motion swings.

Day 15 - Full swings closer to the ball (probably too close, to exaggerate the feel), some work on a faster backswing, and some chipping.

Day 11 (20 Mar 25) - More work with the Pw in the backyard today, focusing on the small adjustments I’ve been working to improve ball contact consistency.
