Day 171 - 2025-03-20

Got a good 30 minutes in today. A little backswing so it doesn't get too far out of hand, then some downswing stuff. If I'm in a good spot at the top I have a chance even without the best downswing.

Day 16 - Mostly lag putting today, with a focus on shoulders turning.

Got an hour of work done on the backswing and transition after an early morning lesson and before some later lessons.

Weight shift drills and slow motion swings.

Day 12 (21 Mar 25) - Weekly Friday men’s group shootout.   Tough winds (10-20 mph hurt going out and just as fast help coming in) made for tricky play on all shots.  It made for a very conservative round of coarse management.  Add that the greens were firm and fast and it was an interesting day all the way around.

Day 10 March 21 2025

Up in Cleveland most of the day watching the 1st round of March Madness. Did some Backswing drills at home after dinner,.

Day 244: mirror work tonight while watching TV. Working on cleaning up lower body stuff.

Day 11 March 21 2025

Some indoor backswing work. Feeling the position I want the club at the top. Then doing some pathing to retrain the body.

Day 245: range session today. Spent it all working on slow swings, working on my lower body stuff in the backswing. Need to feel like I’m moving forward really early. But worked well when I did that.

Day 173 - 2025-03-22

Shot 73 at Tobacco Road. That's +2. In the sim. 😄

Day 13 (22 Mar 25) - Gripped down short pitches (20yds or less)  with the 7i in the backyard.  Focus was simple - grip down to just above the bare shaft, quiet wrists, quiet hands and a smooth putter like stroke with ample torso turn.  Love those low flighted shots!

Day 17 - First round of the year. It took me about 6 holes to remember how to hit off grass. Short game was lacking, but the round could’ve been much worse. It’s nice that my new “bad” is my old “good.”

Session 24 of Full Speed Spectrum training. Taken a while since developing tennis elbow.

Day 14 (23 Mar 25) - A quick front nine with my grandson this afternoon.  Enjoyed watching him take on more distance and play stress free.  On my front, was a good day to focus on clubbing up as I was playing an older set that’s at least a club weaker than what I normally play.

Day 174 - 2025-03-23

Light day of mirror work. Had a bit of a headache. Backswing is still fine, need to start doing my downswing piece.

Day 246: played 18 holes of putt putt with my kids. Also did some mirror work - working on the same backswing stuff.

Day 18 - Setup a new simulator. More work to be done, but worked on some of my pieces while calibrating and checking out the data.
