Day 36 (8 Oct 25) - weekly nine hole round with my friends.  Played decent - still adjusting to the difference in distance with the reworked irons.  Had a few out of position moments where instead of the hero shot, made the smart play to get back in play (I’m getting there on course management) Overall it was a par/bogie day. Bogie won - 5 to 4.

Day 38: played 18 at Erin Hills. Decent 81 that should have been better. Pretty pleased still though.

Day 55 10-8

Same thing today. Letting chest feel like its turning hips in backswing and arms are not over-running turn. Added in some flow drill to start trying to tie it all together.

Day 373 - 2025-10-08

Played 18 holes at Erin Hills, then 13 on the 12-hole putting course. Handicapped @cipher and @GolfLug before @DeadMan and I pulled out the W. 🙂 Also Dan and I won the caddie bets handily.

Day 12: Worked on setup getting 1) more onto the balls of my feet, 2) more level shoulders, and 3) head positioning more neutral.

Day 35 (October 9).  I had ten minutes this morning before work;  started with an 8-iron and moved up to a 6-iron.

Day 56 10-9

Backswing work today. Really focused on upper body turning hips. Recorded dtl, it's getting better, still work to do.

Day 37 (9 Oct 25) Long day of yard maintenance….did get in some easy swings with the 54° in the backyard hitting from varied distances staying fully in my pre-shot process…-

Day 1: Starting the streak again. Putted with the metronome mixing it up between short, medium, and long putts.

Day 36 (October 10).  I was able to spend half an hour at my lunch break hitting balls (rehearsals, mirrors, checking -- not just hitting balls).  During a later in the afternoon break, I got some video too, which I sent in to Skillest.

Day 57 10-10

More upper body turning lower body. Focused on setup. Backswing length with less over run is starting to feel more natural.

Day 38 (10 Oct 25) - Missed out on the Friday shootout l, did get in a midday solo round.  Did the White-Gold-Red rotation of tee boxes (overall yardage equates roughly to playing just the golds) - makes for different thoughts off the tee as well as changes is approach distances.  With the winds today - made for working thru club choices in regards to help/hurt winds.

Day 375 - 2025-10-10

Played Brown Deer Park with @cipher. Really enjoyable round despite the weather. It's a solid course that would be pretty fun to play pretty often.

Day 37 (October 11).  I had a terrible practice session this morning putting, despite not doing anything over 4'.  But I did practice.

I'm about to head out for the day, I will have thoughts to post (not in this thread) later today or tomorrow.

Day 58 10-11

Backswing length and hip turn work. Need to focus some more time on better hip turn.

      Question About UK vs. U.S. Course Etiquette

      The term I hear most often is "double teeing" which means the course/club has starting times from both the #1 and #10 tee.  I have encountered this many times and we know if we are the first group off #10, we may well get to #1 and have to wait because there are groups still with tee times yet to tee of #1.  In most instances, where the course/club has a starter, he normally explains this situation.  In this case, the pro advised what you would could/would encounter making the turn to #1.  And, that is exactly what happened.  Probably would have been wise to talk to the pro after playing back 9 and ask when you could go off #1 since apparently that club does not double tee.   Regardless, the outburst towards the other group was uncalled for.  And, I don't blame the member for being upset.  As a member of a private club, you are responsible for the actions of your guest.  I have played many times as a guest in the UK and I am pretty damn sure my host was responsible for my actions while at the club.  I know at the clubs I have belonged to here in the US, that is the way it is.  As a matter of fact, the member may find himself being brought before management and facing possible suspension.  So, I don't blame him for being upset.  However, as the host, he really should have stepped up and put a stop to the OP's actions.  OP makes this statement "I now understand that standards are different on the "private course." But I'll take those lessons to the muni, too."  No, the standards are not different.  You, sir, seem to be just a bit hard headed and belligerent, even if you are college professor...which possibly explains a lot.   JMHO

      Day 32: worked for about 10 minutes on my drill. Filmed it as well for a check in. I think it’s slightly better but still seeing some issues.

      Day 44 (26 Dec 25)  -  played in the Friday men’s shootout with a twist - used the Toney Penna persimmons and MacGregor blades - had a blast playing these clubs.  They really help in zoning in on making solid ball contact.  Scoring was solid - had several looks at birdie and had a few par saves.  Overall a day of focused course management.

      Day 136 12-26 Had a different practice planned today but life happened. Worked on "wide to wide" and still working on remaining flowy. Starting the club head in front of the ball as a drill, is helping with the flow of the swing.
