Day 218 - 2025-05-06

Got 20 minutes of practice in before lessons today. Short, fast from there. Ball still goes far. Launches lower.

Day 1: 5/7/2025

Okay, I'm back from my golf trip. It was awesome but I didn't win the tournament so it's back to practicing.
I just got back from the range where I hit a small bucket. Just kind of feeling out ball flight and how the swing felt.

Tonight I have 9 holes of golf league. That should give me a chance to see where my game is.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 7 (7 May 25) - while catching a bit of the Golf Channel’s coverage of the pros practicing, I caught where Ludwig Aberg was talking about palming his trail hand while working on his swing to prevent flipping.  I recall working on a much similar drill a while back and opted to work with it in the backyard today with 7i and hard foam balls.  Hit about 30 shots total,  and made for very focused attention on the trail hand.  Made for a solid ball striking focused session.

Day 220 - 2025-05-08

Had a rescheduled lesson on a work day otherwise, so got some practice in while listening to my Alison playlist a bit too loudly. 😉

Day 8 (8 May 25) - Rinse, repeat of yesterday’s drill session with the subbing of the 54 in lieu of the 7i and of course real balls (kept the shots to less than 30yds).  Made a total of about 40 swings focusing again on the palming of the trail hand to get a smooth swing thru.  Side bar drill - after school the grandson asked me to chip foam balls for him to hit with his plastic bat (two fold drill - I get to really focus on a target window (and I had to really focus) and he gets to work on swing timing - and he was killing it)….

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
