Using back side of club

For instance a putter one side flat like a putter, other side lofted and shaped like a chipper is non conforming.

This is because the putter is limited in the loft it can have, and the chipper (which is just like any other iron as far as the rules are concerned) is limited to only having a single striking face.  Those 2 sided chippers that one sees in many bags are not legal clubs.
