I wish I had something salient to say, unfortunately, I don't bet much nor know much about gambling and its markets. This is incumbent on the SCOTUS ruling so it might all be moot. Dunno how likely SCOTUS is likely to rule in favor, but I bet there are odds on that (rimshot).

As someone who knows nothing about sports gambling, I thought their statement was a little vague. Are they going to take bets or just "work with" gambling houses by (e.g.) providing a service for them to easily get statistics about players, courses, etc.?  I could see the latter being a very profitable revenue stream which means that pgatour.com can stop asking me to turn off my ad blocker.

Phil Mickelson won't mind. He likes to gamble. 

I live where I can already bet on golf tournaments.  I just lost a few bucks on the Masters. The PGA made no money of my bet. 

This sounds like something the PGA wants to control themselves. Some states do not allow gambling. If the scotus approves the PGA to take bets at their tournament, it would mean additioal revenue for them. 

My guess is this will be a "little" uphill battle to get approved, but will eventually be approved in the long run. .

      Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.

      Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)

      Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.
