I do 95% of my posting on mobile and I don't seem to have this problem. If you want only part of someone's post, you can always select it and hit the quote this popup.

If you want to use multiple quotes you can use the multiquote function and trim in the quote box or you can compose your post and add in quotes where your cursor is, like I'm doing here.

You can't see it of course, but I typed this sentence and then added the quote above.

I don't know much html and I never use it.

Yea I don't know why there is such a conflict with my phone. I just thought it would eventually get better.

It probably will. When you get a decent phone. :-)

What phone are you using? I have a Samsung Galaxy s7 and I have no problems selecting text, moving the cursor around, etc.

It's never going to be as good as a computer but it's good enough.

I gotta say that I don't particularly like this phone but the only way you would get me to have an iPhone is to pry the golf club out of my dead hands and stuff the phone in it....  😏

S8+ 🤔Another thing it often does here is when I would try to enter a emoji, it would put it at the beginning of the paragraph... I will try it now and see. See at the beginning....

A follow up on the issues I was having... It seems as though it is primarily associated with the Firefox browser. It looks to be working fine with the Chrome browser so far.

    • Day 27 (17 July 26) - Normally an 18 hole day, but due to commitments abbreviated the round to 9 holes (played the back nine at home course).  Had a solid session where even the worst miss (tee shot off 18) was fully playable.  Shot a solid 39 (6pars, 3bogies) - not dbls, no three putts - just boring golf.
    • Overall, well said. People have to be very careful in trying to describe very complex problem in simple terms. In this case, it is a clear fundamental misunderstanding of Newton's 1st and 3rd laws.  To clarify more on the misinterpretation of Newton's 1st law. The exact interpretation of Newton's 1st Law....  "Every body continues in its state of rest, or of uniform motion in a straight line, unless it is compelled to change that state by forces impressed upon it" yea, a body will stay motionless unless a force acts upon it. An object will stay on its path of motion unless a force acts upon it.  I get it, complex physics problems are difficult. There is a lot of simplification done in most physics class when it is taught. A classic problem uses a frictionless surface. Projectile motion excludes drag and wind direction. Collisions are usually elastic. The golf swing is not a simple physics problem.  Yea, I think they got caught up the data on the graphs and are not truly understanding cause and effect.  If the golfer isn't first pushing into the ground, then the ground isn't going to push back.  The internal forces of the body create the motion, not the external forces from the ground. The ground isn't like what Psy uses to start his concert. 🤣 You probably need to be connected to the ground and have those GRF to help the body produce the motion you want. Your body has to move in the right way to produce the GRF which helps you move the body in the way you want. Body motion precedes the GRF.
