That’s a pretty kick butty course 😂

I’ve been playing the usual places the few times I can get out to play, and thinking of you guys...

I have been swamped bringing up a new signal processing chip for image processing, but feel like I can go out this up coming late fall/winter season.

Any takers for this late Fall @tehuti, @Shindig, @Chasing_Bogeys?

I hope you guys are all doing well. I played a TON of golf this year, but most of it has been midweek after work in Ventura county. I managed to get my handicap down to a 15.4 and continue to grind at getting better.

I'll probably sneak a couple more rounds in before the end of the year, but I rarely plan more than a few hours ahead.

Have a great end of the year and maybe we can catch up early next year. I'll drive down to OC to play with you guys if we can find a Saturday that works.

I’m up for that! I’ve been a nightly range rat and only occasional player... hoping to get 2 rounds a week soon...

Most of the year I’ve been playing 9 holes on Fridays after work and every Sunday 9 or 18 somewhere in North OC.

    • Day 109 - 2025-01-17 Good 45 minute session today. No real pulls. Flipping the club up in front of me is helpful. Primes the system. Similar to what I was doing at Sand Valley, too.
    • Day 184: went to a simulator. Played Portush and did decent. Then worked on the range for a bit. Contact is a bit toward the heel, but not bad.
    • I am that old.....born in the 50's, started school in the 60's, finished high school in the 80's, married and divorced  in the 90's, remarried in the 00's - still married and now I'm just north of 65....yes I am that old
    • Oh - should've name it - its a "Golden Retriever by Pro Classic".  I don't think this particular version is even made these days.  There is a very similar one on Amazon sold by Mobile Pro Shops....I know way too much info - but it took the count from five to six brands in the bag yesterday....
    • Day 258 (17 Jan 25) - it was the Friday men's outing and I was paired with my usual side guy, Tony, plus the greenskeeper and assistante greenskeeper.  It was not a great round - started off with dbl-bogie-dbl - I thought the day would be a day of all 6's.  Overall the dbls eased off as I finished with an 88 (45/43).  Drives were okay, wedge play was off - best part of the day were the approaches. It was a good day, not an outstanding one - had some great recoveries and decent putts.
