Looks like they had the good sense to pull down the yardage signs @ SA. 

This was Brookside, but SA was similarly flooded. They never take down the signs, you just can’t see them when they’re submerged 😂

That’s the Islands Driving Range on Ball Road in Anaheim, right next to the East side of the 57 freeway.

Willowick is okay. Not the best maintained course, but it is challenging, walkable and not too expensive. It’s my unofficial “home” course for 2019 through the SCGA. I want an official handicap this year to meadure my progress.

thanks for the willowick quick review. 🙂 "Walkable and not expensive" - sounds like my kinda place!

Good luck on Sunday. One of these weekends we'll get us all out as a 4some. When the weather starts to cooperate it will be easier to plan.

Have any of you played the Navy course in Cypress? I haven’t been there since the 90s, but it was a nice track back then. It is open to the public now.

      Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)

      Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry

      You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
